I have been gigging as a comic for two years, after I gave up my job as a lawyer. Living the dream! In that time I have won a Scottish Bafta, supported Frankie Boyle and appeared in Rab C Nesbitt. I gig all over the country and love the job more than anything. In 2008 I performed my first show at the Edinburgh festival and will be performing again next year and at the Glasgow Comedy Festival in March 2009.
I love taking part in the Universal Comedy workshops and have been part of confidence, communication and intergenerational course in the two years I have been working with them. I particularly enjoy seeing how those who attend the course grow in confidence and produce funny and inspirational material that I would be proud to perform.
Since I started performing comedy my life has changed and my self esteem and confidence has grown in leaps and bounds. My aim is to help others experience the same joy that I get from laughter.
